I like very much this work 'cause you rendered in a very excellent manner a supposed version of what happen to Mary Ann Nichols, the first victim of the Whitechapel butcher.

And I say this and that she's Mary Ann Nichols 'cause the woman was found murdered at 3,40 AM on August 31st, 1888, by a carman called Charles Cross exactly behind a gate of a stable yard in Buck's Row (lately renamed Durward Street), a mean street of Whitechapel lighted only by a gas lamp at the end and which is near to the London Hospital (where the Elephant Man Joseph Merrick lived) and near to Winthrop Street, where there was a slaughterhouse called Barber's.

Probable you didn't know that you portrayed one of the best real version of the murder of a Jack's victim, the only difference between the real location and your drawing is the footpath at the entrance of the gate was dropped, otherwise all is perfect, even the window on the left.

You can see at this link a photo of Buck's Row taken during the Victorian age and in modern time, I pass you this so you can verify what impressive reality you give to your work: www.jack-the-ripper-tour.com/g…

All my compliments (and yes, I'm a fan of the case of Jack the ripper :D )

Wow...I did my research on the general settings but I must admit that I got lucky on the specifics.  You know a great deal more than I do.  I spent a lot of time trying to get my tone correct but I am pleased to know that I got some details as well.  Thanks for looking, liking and talking!

Hi. I'm going to be the freak who asks if this is supposed to be a specific Ripper victim.

And also tell you it's pretty awesome.

Yes, he didn't know he portrayed the first of the Ripper's victim, Mary Ann "Polly" Nichols (found murdered in Buck's Row at 3:45 AM on August 31, 1888) :)

Thanks! I really was not going for a specific victim. I was just trying to get the time and the tone correct. My thought was that this was at least not the first victim.

Your drawings are aweso~ome!! Your art constantly reminds me of the art on the book of "a Series of Unfortunate Events" by Lemony Snicket. The style looks similar. :D

Thank you very much! I was trying to do a something with him I had not seen before...no gore, no violence and not a drawing of a lone figure walking away from a victim. I'm glad you approve!
